Build the mindset and core skills to hold a whole team’s collective will.

Step 1 of the Generative Team Coaching Certification. Over ten weeks you develop the ICF Team Coaching Sub-Competencies alongside the inviteCHANGE Generative Team Coaching methods.

From Session 5, a subset of your cohort becomes your living team. You coach them, and you receive written and verbal developmental feedback on what you do.

Foundations gives you that sight, and the skills to work with what you see. You leverage the coaching competency you already have, and extend it into any one-to-many relationship context.

This is Step 1 of three on your path to becoming a Certified Generative Team Coach.

10 hours. The reflective practice required to earn the ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching.

What you develop

Perceive the collective will of a team.

You apply multi-dimension perceiving to witness what a team wants as a whole, rather than reading a series of individuals in a room.

You learn to name the communication and interaction patterns inside a team, and the impact they have on building trust.

You synthesize patterns of meaning into empowering questions that create awareness for every member, not just the ones already talking.

You practice with a real team, not a theory of teams

Sessions 5 through 10 are Living Team Simulation. A subset of your cohort peers becomes your living team for six sessions, and when it is your turn to coach you receive both written and verbal developmental feedback.

These six sessions are the heart of the course. They are attended live, since a simulation cannot be made up by video.

Get Ready to Make Time

Ten weeks of Monday sessions is a real ask on a working calendar. We get it! The coaches who get the most from it are the ones who look at their week, decide it matters, and hold the time.

You already know how this works. You ask the teams you serve to protect the space for their own growth. This is you doing that for yourself.

Plan for about 3 hours a week, including 30 to 45 minutes of preparation before each session.

Sessions meet Mondays for two hours. Choose the time that fits your life:

→ 4:00 to 6:00 PM US Pacific

Program runs September 14 to November 23, 2026. Sessions 5 through 10 are Living Team Simulation and are attended live.
