Attention: Practicing Coaches at Any Credential Level

Group Coaching Supervision

Strengthen your quality, your ethical practice, and your well-being across the whole of your coaching.

Five live sessions across five weeks, exploring real client cases with a small group of peers. Supervision looks at your practice as a system: how you relate to your clients, and what shapes that relating.

inviteCHANGE has provided education for coaches since 1997, and added coaching supervision to our Continuing Coach Education offerings in 2014.

Who This is for:

Practicing coaches at any credential level

Delivered By:

ACS-qualified coaching supervisors

ICF Accreditation:

Coaching asks a great deal of you. Supervision is where you tend to that.

Client work accumulates. Patterns form in how you relate to certain people, certain situations, certain kinds of pressure. Left unexamined, those patterns quietly shape your coaching.

Coaching supervision gives you a safe partnership for self-discovery, where reflection and inquiry help you see your motivations, resolve the emotional barriers and mental blinders that lead to frustration or doubt, and protect the quality of your client relationships.

The ICF affirms the importance of reflection in sub-competency 2.03, Embodies a Coaching Mindset. This is the practice that develops it.

Three kinds of exploration in every session

Formative.

Exploration that strengthens your coaching skills, so your craft keeps developing well past your last credential.

Normative.

Exploration of the mindset and experiences that either disrupt or amplify your ethical quality.

Restorative.

Exploration that strengthens your well-being and resilience, so the work stays sustainable.

Coaching supervision is a dynamic and reflective process of collaboration, guidance, and support through which coaches develop their personal, professional, and ethical capacity and maturity.

How the learning works

Session 1 opens with one hour to create cohort cohesion and share the basics of coaching supervision. Sessions 2 through 5 run 90 minutes, exploring two coach cases each session so the whole cohort learns together.

Everyone benefits, whether or not you bring a case of your own.

What this course opens up for you:

Coaching supervision develops you in seven ways, in both group and individual formats.

Increased self-awareness and objectivity.

A clearer view of your own motivations, and of how you relate to your practice as a system.

A heightened sense of belonging.

Peer reflection reduces the isolation that comes with independent practice.

Greater confidence and resourcefulness.

More assurance in your judgment, and more options available to you when a client relationship gets hard.

Strengthened resilience.

The restorative work that keeps a demanding profession sustainable over a long career.

PROFESSIONAL GENERATIVE COACHING

The reflective practice that sustains a long career.

Up to 7 of the 10 supervision hours the ICF permits.

Five weeks, real client cases, peers who take the craft seriously.

One enrollment covers all five sessions and your documentation.

Included in a renewal application at any credential level, as CCE core competency credit.

03

Support on the road to MCC

The journey toward the Master Certified Coach credential often surfaces personal development, which a well-trained supervisor supports well.
